Just been out to the car for my phone charger and there's snow coming down. Not impressed at all ☹️☹️☹️

Where are you? It’s been bloody cold here (West Midlands) all day but no snow!

QuestionableMouse · 28/03/2020 21:04

Anything blue is snow ☹️☹️☹️

It's now showing over my location currently (I don't actually live in Sunderland) but I assure you it's coming down.

Snow. Fucking snow!

I live in County Durham @Papergirl1968

Is that in Ireland @Questionablemouse.

RandomMess · 28/03/2020 21:06

Quite frankly it's just an insult isn't it!

Definitely very cold here NW after such a lovely week of ☀️

CakeAndGin · 28/03/2020 21:12

At least you might not feel like you’re in lockdown and actually it’s just a snow day and therefore you’re making the choice to stay inside?

Shockers · 28/03/2020 21:19

If you have a garden, you could build a snowman tomorrow!

I was supposed to be in County Durham tomorrow; to start a new job. It’s been postponed, for obvious reasons 😕

HeyMac · 28/03/2020 21:20

Had some earlier in Scotland for a few minutes

DuesToTheDirt · 28/03/2020 21:29

We went out for our daily exercise late afternoon and got hailed on. Hmm

QuestionableMouse · 28/03/2020 21:42

No, @Awwlookatmybabyspider, Northern England.

I'm in bed and I'm bloody freezing. The wind is horrible too. Even if it does snow overnight it'll probably only be enough to make things slushy and gross.

Life feels so unfair right now. ☹️☹️☹️

(I know, I'm very lucky this is all I have to worry about right now.)

It does this every single year. A glimpse of warm spring weather and then just as the clocks change back to winter

It's pretty par for the course.

Youwonjane · 28/03/2020 21:48

I have a photo somewhere of a few years ago - one week bbq - next week - building for a snowman.

cobwebsoncornices · 28/03/2020 21:49

If it snows, there will be no social distancing. There is only one good slope for tobogganing near here and hundreds of people head there when it snows. I have already told the DC that, if it snows, we will be staying in the garden and they'll just have to make do with snowmen and be glad that they have their "own" bit of snow

Mollypolly2610 · 28/03/2020 21:50

Snow in south Scotland and it’s freeeeeezing outside

AmelieTaylor · 28/03/2020 21:53

And freezing doesn’t even kill the bastard thing. I hope there’s not enough anywhere to have people ‘taking their hours exercise’ in ideal snow spots 😩

Wineislifex · 28/03/2020 21:55

I’m in CD too but no snow for me!

QuestionableMouse · 28/03/2020 21:57

It's apparently 1° here with a feels like temp of -3°

I think I'm going to have to break out the hot water bottle again.

TARSCOUT · 28/03/2020 21:59

Just seen the grittier out. Effing Scotland.

QuestionableMouse · 28/03/2020 21:59

It seems to be coming down in showers. Stopped here now thank god but it's still icy cold.

OP posts:
Arrowfanatic · 28/03/2020 22:07

I'm East Anglia and I've had to open the bedroom window as it's just too stuffy in here!!

QuestionableMouse · 28/03/2020 22:08

I wish it was here. Feels like a proper winter's night.

OP posts:
Papergirl1968 · 28/03/2020 22:11

I think we’ve been spoilt by a lovely sunny warm week.

RandomMess · 28/03/2020 22:12

Yeah our forecast is feels like -1 going down to -3 no doubt the DC will complain how cold their rooms are at midnight once the heating is off 🙄

juneybean · 28/03/2020 22:12

Not a speck up in Sunderland

APatchyTomCat · 28/03/2020 22:16

I know it doesn’t feel like it, but a spot of cold, miserable weather might be good for us all right now. Keep us all in for a few days, instead of the sunshine making us want to venture out.
