To not know how to feed my family!

We’re luckily not in the position yet. I can manage for another week I think.
I have four kids under 6, and I’m on my own. We don’t fit the criteria for vulnerable delivery slots, plus can’t actually get one.
How am I supposed to get any shopping?!!! Can’t take the kids in, can’t leave them outside, can’t get delivery!

As a teacher I’m another one seconding that school would be happy to support. Try them. Just cos kids aren’t at school doesn’t mean I’m not their teacher, still concerned for their wellbeing. Good luck x

Try logging into the delivery slots about 7am. Also are there any local fb groups you could join to help get the essentials? We have a lot of local farm type places now offering to deliver essentials such as milk, bread, eggs etc. Milkman is also an option
