Bet you wish you had never watched all the series now!!

Never seen any episode and am hooked after 2 - rationed to one per week, this will keep me going for ages!

i binge watched it. Am watching it again. Blush

BelfryBat · 28/03/2020 16:34

Wouldn't watch it unless you paid me a LOT of money.

maryboleyn · 28/03/2020 16:38

@Belfry

😱😱

CeriseClementine · 28/03/2020 16:42

There's also that new one that's started - the name escapes me - by Julian whatsit too. Supposed to be very good and similar, although about the London Nouveau-riche rather than monied Lords and Ladies.

I've not watched any yet, i'm waiting so I can binge it in a few weeks.

Love Downton and have seen it all twice!

MissMarks · 28/03/2020 16:44

Belgravia. It is good! Can’t wait until tomorrow night for episode three.

Menaimum · 28/03/2020 16:46

@cerise Belgravia I'm not a Downton-er or a fan of Fellowes but it's got Tamsin Grieg and expensive costumes so I'm going to give it a chance.

SecretWitch · 28/03/2020 16:48

I have rewatched the series at least four times. Belgravia isn’t available in the US as far as I know and I am impatiently waiting for it’s arrival

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 28/03/2020 16:51

Downton Abbey started well but like many long-running series I felt it tailed off a bit towards the end. I'd still happily watch it again, though!

BlankTimes · 28/03/2020 17:08

The series was great and the film released last year tied up all the loose ends, that's definitely worth watching too.

notagaincharlie · 28/03/2020 17:11

Is the film available free anywhere?

cobwebsoncornices · 28/03/2020 17:13

Where are you able to watch it? I just went to look for it as I only ever watched series 1 and loved it but can't find it

Toothsil · 28/03/2020 17:53

I've watched it so many times and I'm still noticing things I didn't notice any of the other times. I love it!!

Toothsil · 28/03/2020 17:54

@cobwebsoncornices I'm sure I get it somewhere within Sky.... I can't remember how I get to it but I'll go and investigate shortly!!

Applejaxx · 28/03/2020 18:00

The first series was utterly brilliant. I still remember how bereft I felt after the final episode realising I had to wait about a year for the next one!

Mary46 · 28/03/2020 18:01

Love it too. The film was good too in the cinema.

Snaketime · 28/03/2020 18:04

I love but my DH hates it.

OnlyToWin · 28/03/2020 18:08

I have only every watched one episode. I just could not take it seriously. It felt like a spoof to me - like the one French and Saunders used to do about House of Elliott.

Shame as everyone else seems to love it and find it relaxing viewing.

Applejaxx · 28/03/2020 18:08

I still haven't seen the film, I think its Sky. I might download it to watch over lockdown.

TheWernethWife · 28/03/2020 18:47

Only - House of Elliott, loved that.

OnlyToWin · 28/03/2020 18:51

Thewernethwife - I could not watch it again after that spoof with the penny farthing constantly being wheeled past!!

MissFlite · 28/03/2020 18:59

Damn I watched this all very recently. And all the series of Friends.
What else is there with squillions of episodes?

OnlyToWin · 28/03/2020 19:01

Call The Midwife

OnlyToWin · 28/03/2020 19:02

How I Met Your Mother

The Big Bang Theory

StrictlyAFemaleFemale · 28/03/2020 19:02

West Wing?
Buffy
Greys Anatomy

AiryFairy1 · 28/03/2020 19:04

@MissFlite slightly different genre but there’s loads of 24, The Blacklist and Homeland ... I think Homeland is on Netflix and there’s a current (final) season on channel 4 on Sundays ... my dream is one day they do a special merger series of all 3 shows Grin
