I'm using up some over ripe bananas and have a spice banana loaf in t'oven. I'll post a pic when it's out of the tin. As long as it doesn't look like the dog produced it.

Anyone else got delicious looking pics of food they've made? Not normally something I'm into but I think some of us are probably cooking/baking more than usual.

I cook from scratch a lot but haven't made a cake for a while.

I turned my leftover hot cross buns into a bread and butter pudding.

Dp cooked paella and focaccia- think we won't be able to leave the house through the front door soon!

Chocolate espresso cake. Misread the instructions and added my ingredients in the wrong order but it's turned out ok. However, despite claiming to be a mean coffee cake, I can't taste and coffee 🤷‍♀️

Just have it with a nice cup of coffee. I have a new batch of ripening bananas (a fruit and veg delivery box snafu) so will be making banana and apple cake in the next day or so.

@Spam88 can you feed the cake strong, cold espresso similar to how you would feed a Christmas cake with alcohol?

It's mostly gone now 😂 it was nice enough as a chocolate cake. I've just made bread as well and am super proud of myself (even though it turns out it's really easy).

Well you can triple the coffee content & reduce the sugar next time you make it.

You lot are giving me lots of ideas of what to bake next 😁 I made a buck load of jam - last year's frozen strawberries and a little of this year's rhubarb. I did make some scones to go with it but they disappeared very quickly.

Nutella cheesecake. Kids loved it, I thought it was way too chocolatey. Won't be making again.

I haven't got any pictures but I am not usually a baker, but I'm loving it now I have more time.
I have made banana loaves, soda bread lemon drizzle, sponge cakes, flapjacks, cookies, I have also made a fish curry and todays offering is meat loaf.
I have even brought a food processor and food mixer, i am really enjoying cooking from scratch. X
