Aibuto think that without covid19 this would be a MASSIVE story? It seems to have barely had coverage. Not even seen threads on here, have I just missed them?!

I did see it on the news but you're right, it would have been major news without Coronavirus. The randomness of the attack is the most scary thing. How terrible for her family. I read she was their only child. Hopefully the lack of press attention is better for them.

I did see it in the news. I do think there would have been more coverage had it not been for coronavirus.

The person responsible was arrested immediately and sectioned under the mental health act so I suppose in many ways not much more can be said.

Perhaps the family also want to just greive privately. If it was in the press there would be statements etc. Maybe they don't want that.

Poor family -I cannot imagine what they must be going through.

A stranger/passer by apparently detained the woman until police could arrive.

I reported my post to add the trigger warning, hope it didn't cause any upset for anyone before I remembered to.

Ah@QueenArseClangers this doesn't surprise me unfortunately ,'the quality of the reporting has,nt been great for a long time so that explains why .
