About 45 mins ago a man came to the door, said he was doing some work for the neighbour backing on to us who had expressed concern about the condition of the back garden wall. DH told him to tell the neighbour to come and have a word with us. He said he would. Ten minutes later he's back. Says he has talked to the neighbour who has asked him to talk to us. Again DH tells him to ask the neighbour to come and talk to us. He goes away. In the meantime we have been out in the garden looking at the wall. Which seems ok. The area next to the wall is overgrown on neighbour's side, with a big apple tree that overhangs us. No sign of the neighbours out in the garden at all, in fact DH could see them in the house from the back bedroom going about their business. No one has been back since. AIBU to think this was a try on and that the neighbour would be happy to talk to us personally if they had genuine concerns about the wall?
