We booked a holiday to Estonia for the end of may and have already paid two instalments of nearly 400 euros for four of us. The next instalment of 200 euros is due on the 31 at March then another 200 two weeks later. I know we definitely won't be going and the airline said if we don't pay the last two instalments the flight is cancelled.
My brother is saying we should pay the final instalments as we will be covered by ABTA. I'm saying let's cut our losses and not pay in case the airline goes bankrupt. I do have insurance, but in the very unlikely event we are allowed to travel by then, my mum who we are going with wouldn't be allowed anyway as she is in isolation for three months.
It's air Baltic who I have contacted but no reply as yet.
Any advice please?
