To cancel our 6 week appt?

Me and DS have our 6 week check on Tuesday. There are a couple of things I'd like advice on but nothing too urgent. My LO is gaining weight ok as far as I can tell.

I'm really hesitant to take him to the surgery and see someone who has potentially seen 100 other people this week. I rang the surgery and they said It was 'safe'- they're operating a one in one out policy. I'm more thinking of the doctor being so exposed..

AIBU to cancel and move to a later date?

just check as it will likely interfere with his 8 wk vaccinations - usually they have to have their check first before they can book an appointment for the jabs?

I've known so many women who haven't had their six week check and have had issues or retained placenta. It's important to have.

Measles is spreading again and combined with the virus, could have all sorts of complications. So as said, you do need to follow the time line for the vaccinations.

I doubt that the NHS would be putting people at risk.
