Weird patch of dry skin on both kids

Sorry not AIBU but desperate for answers as I'm freaked out Grin

A few weeks ago my DD had this strange circle on dry skin on her back/shoulder. I was a bit worried about it then but thought I was over reacting about a bit of dry skin!! DSD has came over today and has the same dry circle on her back/shoulder!

Anybody know what the hell this is?

One of these has just appeared, this week, at the top of my stomach just underneath bra. It's like a patch of dry skin. I thought it might have been down to stress

Looks like ringworm to me, it’s quite contagious but you can get cream over the counter for it from the chemist

IndieTara · 26/03/2020 18:59

Looks like ringworm

SimonJT · 26/03/2020 19:00

Looks like ringworm, very contagious. You need an antifungal cream from the pharmacy to treat it.

Runworkeatsleeprepeat · 26/03/2020 19:01

Either ringworm or disco id eczema

TipseyTorvey · 26/03/2020 19:01

Oh that's weird my youngest has these now too!! Was wondering what it was. Can't even get out as self isolating due to fever in the house, dammit

Runworkeatsleeprepeat · 26/03/2020 19:01

Discoid eczema

MacavityTheDentistsCat · 26/03/2020 19:03

Possibly a fungal infection. I had something similar last year. I treated it with an OTC fungicide.

Yeah my money's on ring worm. Could someone go to the chemist and post it through your door?

CherryPlum · 26/03/2020 19:03

It looks like impetigo

oncemorewithfeelingplease · 26/03/2020 19:04

I’d say ringworm over discoid eczema as they’ve both got the same symptom, it’s contagious but easily treated unless it gets into the scalp where it’s a bit more difficult.

Oh no! I put moisturiser on my DD's and it went the next day but DSD looks a bit more angry. Just sent DP to the pharmacy.

Thanks everyone
