AIBU - lockdown etiquette??

Hi everyone

First time posting ever so be gentle

We live in a terraced house and since before lockdown the neighbours have been sanding constantly next door using a really noisy machine. My husband is working from home on constant, stressful conference calls and I'm trying to educate a 5 year old and a 10 year old who has massive concentration issues (her school was in the process of referring her before this all started) and is seriously behind in maths, so she needs all the help I can get.

They sent a note through the door over a week ago saying it would be two days and that they're plastering their spare room. Normally I would totally understand but it's been over a week now and if it's their spare room they can hardly be expecting visitors any time soon!

My question is - when we are all effectively under house arrest with hardly any chance of escape (not to mention having to work from home), should we all be giving the power tools a rest for a few weeks at least?

Sorry for the long post. I need to rant. AIBU???

YANBU, That would drive me crazy. I’d ask them to stop or to limit the hours a lot.
I’m desperate to do some jet washing or to get stuck into my power towels and do some woodwork but I know my neighbours would find it irritating.
