I am sitting with the doors open and omg some antisocial bastard of a neighbour is toasting hot cross buns.

Don't you realise that some of us forgot to stuff some HCBs into our baskets so are going to be HCB deprived for the next couple of weeks, and that moreover for some of us an HCB is something they only eat at this time of year, that we refuse the temptation to buy them out of season so the scent of their spicy crisp loveliness drenched in good unsalted butter wafting across the back fence is almost unbearable? Hmm?

If you carry on like this neighbour, I will have to unleash my inner Liam Neelson and track you down........

(we did have some of the salted caramel HCB's before all this kicked off and found them a bit too sticky - they welded onto the top of my toaster as I tried to get them in - is it the same with all packs of the SC ones from M&S?)

I baked bread and let the scent waft over the fence to the neighbours. Lock me up now

I managed to pick some up at Tesco earlier when I did the toilet paper and "get us through another 5 days" run. Only bought one packet. Am wondering if I will regret that.

I tried to order some Belgium buns from tesco but they have none but recommended HCBs I am cross and happy at the same time
