Come Home And Help 3 under 5. Family friend GP
Said possible covid so obv I was very worried all the while DH said I shouldn’t have told anyone and I
Was acting (showed Him the thermometer). He eventually got home
At 1am. Let me lie in this morning coming into the room telling me
To drink fluids which I was trying. I asked him to check my throat and
Tonsills covered in white spots rang my Gp he said
Tonsillitis and gave me antibiotic which dh went to
Get. This
Afternoon I felt ok but tonight I’m floored painkillers areNt working and my chest is very tight I said I’d ring family friend again and he lost it. Said you know he’ll
Say poss Covid and
I’ll be expected to self
Isolate too for two weeks. I’m
So annoyed at him I am worried. If I text he’ll
Not speak to me and if it is tonsillitis I’ll
Be the worst In the world. I feel like leaving him

The advice is to self isolate and not contact a medical professional unless you have difficulty breathing.
If you have a family friend to ask then go ahead, but your husband is right that they'll just tell you to self-isolate.

Husband should now be self isolating for 2 weeks now too of course.

He doesn’t want too so he doesn’t want me to tell anyone that Im dry breathless tonight

If you're experiencing breathlessness you need to ring 111 and if it becomes severe then 999.
You then need to self isolate for 7 days and the rest of your family who reside with you for 14 days.
Your husband is being a dickhead.

You both need to self isolate. You’ve already been told it’s possible covid. You’ve rang the GP three times in 24 hours and have been given antibiotics and have painkillers. I’m not sure what more you expect your family friend GP to do. If it’s an emergency and you are really, really struggling to breathe you need to ring 111.
