Dc usually stay with their dad each weekend, he had a cough last week which has revolved now so they haven’t seen him for 2 weeks. He would like to continue access this weekend as normal, however he’s still at work (retail) and not self isolating, unlike my household. I’m torn between stopping them seeing their dad for who knows how long... or letting them go as usual but I’m feeling very uneasy about it. What are others doing in this situation?

My ex didn't come last weekend because he was ill. And he's not planning on taking our daughter for Easter either (wants to delay it).

I would rather have it at the right time, but he lives 150 miles away and has no home anyway, not sure where he's staying at the moment, as he usually takes her to his mum's house.

But since he could be avoiding her for months, don't know what good delaying it will do; might as well just cancel.

Mine has decided he won't be having them at all, despite us living less than half a mile apart and him being off work whilst I'm continuing to work (key worker) and also being chronically ill and exhausted.

My ex is a key worker in London, we have agreed to stop contact for now - I think he's relieved not to have the responsibility if I'm honest. It helps that our 2 are older - 16 and 10, and not that bothered about seeing him anyway!
