I love my job, but I've been placed on furlough indefinitely with 80% pay amid Covid-19 situation. The company was in bad financial place before so not sure what the future holds.
There is a job vacancy at a well known company nearby, which is the same role i am doing now but £6k more. I doubt they are doing interviews at the moment, but wondering if I should apply anyway? As I said I do love my current job but not sure about the future.
Only thing is, worried someone there will be connected to my current company somehow and my current employer will find out I'm applying and just get rid of me during furlough. What would you do?
