So I've sent ds outside to read a book for half an hour so he can get some fresh air but one of the neighbours is blasting rap music its driving me mad, why does it have to be so loud!

Antisocial fuckers.

And lockdown means you can't even go round and give them a piece of your mind.

One of my neighbours a few doors down was absolutely howling along to his music yesterday, I think he thinks the gardens are bigger than they are and doesn’t realise how much the noise travels Grin

Play classical music, even louder

LadyMonicaBaddingham · 25/03/2020 15:43

Nah, play novelty hits instead of classical music. Things like 'Baby Got Back', 'Ghostbusters', 'Barbie Girl' et al

I've been into the garden and shouted for the love of god turn it down, they haven't but they havent turned it up either, sat in the living room with doors and windows closed and can still hear the bass 😢

I’ve had my music on in the garden the last couple of days. Neighbors even singing along, but if they asked I would happily turn it down.

No point stewing about it if you haven’t even attempted to get them to turn it off - most people are just trying to keep their spirits up at the moment (I know I am).
