I know the government have clarified confusion around custody arrangements but I still feel unsure about what's the best thing to do.
My children currently see their dad twice a week at his parents house (which is not in the same town as us, but is nearby). There are no overnights, and he has not seen them since last week. He has now said he would like them for an overnight this weekend. Since he does not have shared custody, and he does not always see them regularly, I'm wondering if this is really necessary at the moment? I'm also concerned because he is not the only person in his household, and our youngest has an underlying health condition.
He thinks I'm unreasonable, that the government have said that it's allowed, and that since he and his parents have been social distancing there's little risk. So, what do you think?
YES: YABU, allow the children to visit their dad
NO: YANBU, suspend contact for now.
