Can you only get the antibodies test if you get ill?

I think they're planning to test samples of the population (including those that have been ill and not been ill) to get an idea of how many have been infected and how many have had it without any symptoms. Can't imagine we can get anyb test anytime soon. It'll be reserved for health staff first I imagine.
