Mil not isolating

Mil has 'chest infection'??
Presuming she's coughing then.... And therfore should be in 7 days isolation.
She also works in a hospital.

Today she leaves a bag full of bits and bobs outside our house...
(she often does this)

Bits and bobs from her? Infected house...

When DH is strictly social distancing and should really be self isolating due to the medication he's on.
Were taking all precautions, sleeping separate etc now too to safe guard him.
AIBU to be a bit miffed at her stupidity?!

Your DH has to man up. Literally for the good of the nation.

My dm was doing that to my dsis beginning of the week. Works at a hospital aswel Hmm

Appearing at the door with bags of shite and then asking to come in Shock

She did it once at the beginning of the week and bil went nuts when he found out as they have a vulnerable dc. He's now off work due to demand dropping so shel next staying away as she knows he won't put up with it.

Not tried it with me because I'm harsher than my dsis and told her not to even attempt it or we will be having words.

I also told her after she's done it to dsis to not be so bloody stupid and that if she does it again il tell ddad cause he's taking it seriously 😐

Had similar issues with in in-laws.
It seems the older generation aren't listening and they're the ones most vulnerable.

NHS workers do not have to work despite symptoms. That is fake news. We have to stop work and self isolate like everyone else if we have possible covid symptoms. The reason for testing is to determine whether or not it is Covid as the other more common viruses still exist. If it isn't covid they can return. The antibody test that hasnt been developed yet is also needed to see who is immune and therefore able to work. Several of my GP colleagues are off because their kids have coughs. If the kids don't have CV they can return and stop self isolating
