To open the wine?

First day of trying to get DS to do some home learning. I've been furloughed from work for the foreseeable future. We're both climbing the walls. We live in a first floor flat so we haven't even got a garden to sit in and enjoy the sunshine.

I can see myself turning to the Wine to get me through lockdown!

I see your point but it might just make you tired and grumpy, or looking for a second glass!

Anyone trying to homeschool deserves a regular wine delivery....Hmm...nightmare

I never drink. Was T total through 2019. I have drank every day since Thursday. Box of wine was the best purchase ever... open the wine you owe yourself x

I am having a medicinal gin after nearly severing the top half of my thumb.

I rarely drink outside of December.

I'm already one gin in today. I had to stop myself from drinking last night. I do not want this to be my new "norm" as well!

I’ve bought some tonic water to have a pre-dinner G&T with DH.

I only have wine with my dinner at the weekend and spirits are for cooking IMO.
But the gin was a gift at Christmas and a top brand. We would probably have drunk it up before July anyway as we’re (still) planning to move house.
But the idea of living a more elegant life while cooped up together is very appealing!

I've opened a bottle while I cook dinner. Grin

Not having to drop and collect different children has definitely freed up my evenings.....but I will try and refrain for drinking every night despite the unrelenting bad news.........however if my children were very young and I was having to homeschool.......all bets would be off...vino would definitely be used as a crutch to get me through it.
