To use Uber to deliver something

I am a bit stuck, I accidentally sent an amazon order to my old address (I did not realise it that it reverted back once you have changed the address).

It's exercise equipment and I have been in self isolation for two weeks already - I have not been out of the house at all; I am on the twelve week list.

I cannot afford to buy it again.

Would it be totally unreasonable to do a contract free uber pick up - my old housemates are happy to put in the boot, and I will take it out this end.

I don't see why not - as long as the uder driver is happy to do it.

Good plan.

I would.

As long as the Uber driver is happy it’s a great plan! My mum did this the other day to send some food supplies to her sister who was struggling to get the basics :)

Ah thank you, was a bit worried I may get flamed for even suggesting it, but I do think uber are still operating - I will call my favourite driver and see if he would be willing to do it for me.
