Need some advice on how family are handling coronavirus

Hi everyone

I'm a new poster but long time lurker.
I live in Dubai but my DM, DF and DS live in the UK. They live in a medium sized village and are not taking this situation seriously at all, despite my DM being mid 60's and having high blood pressure and my DF having asthma.
My DS is at uni and has a part time job at Co-op, who are pushing her to do a lot of overtime. My DM was sent home from work last week and advised to self isolate by her boss as she developed a sore throat and other cold symptoms. She is convinced that it is just a cold. My DF has has also had a cough and persistent wheezing a week ago, which has improved now. I told my DS that as a member of the family has been sent home unwell and another had a cough she should also be self isolating and should definitely not be going into co-OP. Our DM and DF have told her she should definitely go in, their reasoning being that she will make extra money doing these extra shifts. Her worry is having to tell her boss that she cant work. This is a part time job that she has for pocket money, she lives with my parents.
Please tell me if I am being irrational by completely losing my shit with her and saying she should not be going in? She is panicking now and looking for me to try and soothe her worries but I dont feel like I can!

I’m with you OP - no way should she do any shifts!

Thank you, I was feeling bad about worrying and upsetting her so much

Unfortunately I have upset my DM and DF by telling them this, I can see this causing rifts in families

No she should not go in. I know someone who's almost certainly had CV but her partner has still been going to work because they need the money. And she's one of those who's been posting judgey comments about everyone else!

@thatblackbag I don't understand the total lack of self-awareness!!
