to be worried about court proceedings?

I'm meant to be having a section 7 meeting with CAFCASS. My ex was abusive and hasn't seen our son for a year or so. The courts have deemed him a significant risk so far. Significant facts were found in a fact finding hearing. We have a hearing in June. Still haven't heard from CAFCASS and presuming the S7 meeting won't go ahead, or will be done via telephone. Does anyone know what's happening with family courts?
