Mail gone missing.

Hi all,

My signed for mail has gone missing. I know it's far from world over, even though it is time sensitive mail.

I have got to wait until the 25th to make a claim.

AIBU to be pissed off? I know bigger things are going down right now but still.

I'm posting really to ask if any of you have had any mail problems? I have had some mail from the start of the month still not show up,mail sent to me I mean.

Yet when I posted my mail no one at the post office said there was a problem. I'm not stupid I know Royal Mail will have staff shortage now but I posted two weeks ago.

I'm worried because it's getting closer to the deadline. I still have another week until the deadline but I'm worried even if I post another copy it's not going to get there before the deadline. I ordered a moonpig card last Monday morning, it got here today, was 1st class.

Well my mums mother day card made it with a 2nd class stamp in 4 days ish. Are you 100% sure the recipient is still in that location and not working elsewhere? Or e.g. someone signed for it and left it on a random desk? Or has royal mail admitted they lost it? If you have another copy I would send it asap!

Yep, my son was sent two lots of mail which hasn't arrived more than a week later and the postman didn't come today. The latter I am worried he is ill .

Yeah 25th until Royal Mail admit it's lost.

I think it's on!y some sorting offices that are effected.

Some of my mail has arrived fine. Other mail never got here or has come v late. Gas bill was over 2 weeks late for example.

I will have to send another copy of the letter out if it's not there by 25th. No one has signed for it yet, it's not got there.

So much shit to deal with at the minute, late mail is not helping. I know they are all only human too, but FFS Royal Mail need to put it out there. Because saying "oh I never received the bill" is the oldest trick in the book an no one believes it.

Luckily my mail man is still running about healthy. Hope your postman is ok @SunshineCake
