AIBU to be scared to change my ASDA grocery order

We are in quarantine as we are ill and have been for days. I managed to get a delivery slot for ASDA for April 4th and now I really need to add things to it as we are running out of everything. But I’m terrified that if I go in to change the order I might risk losing my slot. Has anyone done this in recent times with no issue? I know it was possible pre-Corona but these new circumstances make me nervous! If I lose this slot we will be completely screwed...

I've been doing it for the last 3 weeks with Morrisons if that's any help. There were no problems.

I was worried about checking out and something going wrong but it was fine.

I've done it twice with Asda today. It was fine.

You just amend the order and checkout again. You keep the same slot.

I was changing mine until 10 last night (adding some bits for my Nan) and it all arrived fine today minus the toilet roll!

If for some reason the amends fail at checkout, you will still get your original order. So... better than nothing

I amend my recent adsa orders about 100 times due to last minute requests from elderly relatives. Just make sure you see the final confirmation, I noticed a few times when it's busy it can be a bit glitchy saving the changes.

You don’t lose the slot but it things have become unavailable they’ll be removed from the order (even though there’s no way of knowing yet if they’ll be available On 4th April)

I booked a delivery slot two weeks ago with Asda for an elderly relative to arrive this morning. I went online last night to amend the order and I couldn't check out, the error was; 'sorry, not a valid town'. The address wasn't mine so didn't match the billing address. I rang and was on hold for half an hour then when I spoke to customer services she told me the website was overwhelmed and to use my phone as apparently there's no problem with the app. I couldn't because my phone's shit so she advised me to use 'incognito' on my laptop to log in, and it worked straight away.
