So two weeks ago dp went to a pottery class with his dd and he told me i wasnt to see the results. How sweet and thoughful i thought.
So turns out the pottery was for his mum. ( fine) and his ex on behalf of his dd ( again fine) but i got none of it for Mother's day.
I did get some nice flowers but he is so off the mark with this kind of thing.
Why tell me he had made something nice that i wasn't allowed to see then turns out it wasnt for me after all?

Maybe it came out really badly, so he gave it to his mum?

Tell them both that you were hoping to be included

Tell him you thought it was for you - why the hell did he say you cant see?

I think you probably had a narrow escape!

Do you have a child with him?

If you have a child together then that's awful, if not then you aren't a mother so it doesn't really matter does it. His dd made something for her mum you can't begrudge that.8

Sounds like some of it was meant to be for you but maybe it didn't turn out well.
