Elderly neighbour Knocking on door

I’ve been helping an elderly neighbour with a few bits and they now keep coming down and knocking on my door. I assume I am fine as long as I just talk through the door (but they can’t hear me unless I get close to it (less than 2m) You can’t catch Coronavirus through a door though can you? Sorry for t he silly question just worried like EVERYONE

No you can’t catch it through a door. If they touch the door or cough on it or something then you could catch it when you touch that side of it so wipe it down with something

No, you can't catch a virus through a solid object...

With my neighbours we ask them to step back from the door when they knock, before we open it, and we stand back on our side when it’s open to keep 2 meters from each other. It important for society that we still see other human so possible...

Ask them to ring you on the phone, that's what my elderly neighbour does.

Open a window and stand well back from it xx

Yes ask them to call you or write you a note if they need something but fgs open the door and talk from a distance like a normal person.

I think my neighbour 20 doors down has it. Will it travel through the bricks?
