Let him talk!

Piers Morgan talking across Health Minister on GMB. Won't let him talk, constantly interrupting. Makes for a really awkward interview! Piers is pushing for a total lockdown.

What do you think, should we have a lock down? I do. Am I being unfair?

He’s a ranting raving lunatic

Matt Hancock is desperate to tell him to fuck off

Busybusybust · 23/03/2020 08:53

Why are you watching this complete idiot?

hamstersarse · 23/03/2020 08:56

Piers Morgan is the public face of the scaremongering mass panickers

Oxfordnono12 · 23/03/2020 09:01

He never let's them. Anytime I watch the show, he either finishes their sentences or challenges without the guest speck more than 5 words. I dont think its awkward, its bloody frustrating!

Lorraine does it too!! Only in a polite way.

potter5 · 23/03/2020 09:09

I wanted to hear what Matt Hancock had to say but Piers was a total idiot and wouldn't let him speak. Made me angry. Yes, he is definitely making the situation worse by scare mongering.

Morgan is a nasty aggressive bastard who always talks over people

He should STFU and let them talk, whoever he interviews, on any subject

That's a separate matter from a much stricter lockdown, which we need
to avoid overwhelming the NHS, like happened to the Italian health service

BigChocFrenzy · 23/03/2020 09:18

and whenever someone says "scaremonger" I just stop listening to them

  • they've been wrong all along so far

However, I'd like to listen to Hancock, not that conceited bellend Morgan

hamstersarse · 23/03/2020 09:46

There is such a thing as scaremongering

DuploTower · 23/03/2020 09:53

There is such a thing as scaremongering yes.

But in this situation the right thing to do will feel like a massive overreaction at the time.

When the action taken feels appropriate - it's too late.

MitziK · 23/03/2020 09:56

You're being unreasonable in watching that pudding faced twat in the first place. It's not about the guest getting a chance to say anything, it's a vehicle for Morgan to splutter and bluster his way to many more millions than he already has. I can see exactly where my mother's nonsense came from in the past - she was a Daily Mirror believer, and whilst I have never been in any way a Tory, I could always tell from her tone and phrasing if whatever she was pontificating about or claiming happened to her or a friend of a friend came direct from its pages.

FWIW, I do think there should be a lockdown. But I also think somebody should tell PM to just fuck off.

Kaykay066 · 23/03/2020 10:00

I saw some of this, it’s not something I watch but it was hideous what’s the point of having him on if peirs was just going to talk over him. He talked over the other presenter too just before he came on I would’ve found it so hard not to tell him off, he’s incredibly rude turned over when kids got up

bobstersmum · 23/03/2020 10:10

My almost 3 year old started shouting Tittle Tattle! as she heard one of them say it during their argument.

vodkaredbullgirl · 23/03/2020 10:13

He was so annoying, had to turn over.
