Are Amazon still delivering non essential items?

I need some stuff for growing food. But can't get to the shops.
Can we still order things from amazon? Like compost, stuff like that?

I'm hoping they keep delivering my cat food is due on the 25th if they cant eat they will die

And no we cant get it at tescos

Was ordering last night and noticed most of the prime deliveries were now 20th April.

They've just delivered my cat food.

I thought they werent making people sign for packages, and standing back from the doors etc

we just had a delivery and the driver insisted we open the door, and said "had you forgotten you had ordered"

DH muttered "have you forgotten about social distancing" FFS

I've not had any issues with non-essentials (earrings, cotton gloves, stationary and so on) I've ordered stuff today (compost etc) and although its not next day, its due by Saturday (although marked as prime) This is fine by me.

I had delivery today, and including alcohol (needed some gin!).

Guy rang the bell, put the boxes at the door, then stock well back. Asked for my date of birth (for the alcohol) and then went away. Was wearing gloves as well.

It may come that they temporarily stop but doesn't seem to be close just yet.

I hope they carry the n delivering as I have ordered goggles for work since the NHS seem incapable of getting hold of any.Most if us needing to wear the full protective gear are having to or be exposed.
