AIBU to think not every toe has a name?

Amongst the thousands of coronavirus threads I thought we needed a lighthearted one, and this just had to be shared because I must know if anyone else is under the same impression as DH.

DH has just BOGGLED MY MIND by stating that every toe has a name. He was playing with little DD and saying “this is your big toe, this is your little toe” etc and when he came to her fourth toe said “this is your....wedding toe?”

What madness is this?

I only got a wedding ring for my finger when we got married so clearly I’ve been woefully (toefully?!) short changed and need to get this rectified with a bejewelled toe ring ASAP. Any suggestions on the design welcome.

Surely they're all little piggies and the big one went to market (the market or toe), the next one stayed at home (the home toe), roast beef is the next one, none or no toe is the fourth one and the wee toe is the little one?

But where does the wedding toe come in?
And is the big toe just called 'big toe' while all the rest have designated titles? Hardly seems fair. In fact it seems toe-tally unjust if you ask me.

Also- how come we have a name for thumbs, which are surely the big toes our our hands, but not a big toe?
