Ordering non essentials online?

We are staying in (other than necessary food shopping) and thinking about how to get thro the next few months. Family of 3 with a DD6.
We were talking about getting stuff like art and craft and toys stuff, things for the garden, a new tablet etc. So all non essentials but will make the next few months more tolerable hopefully. These shops are all open but it feels wrong to go shop to shop spreading any germs I might so thinking about ordering online. Aibu to do so? They aren’t essential purchases and so it feels wrong somehow. Am I overthinking this?

I’ve ordered DS a load of Lego and an archery set for the garden, all online. Seems safe and sensible to me

My 61 year old DH just read this over my shoulder, said 'Brilliant idea' and is now browsing Amazon for Lego and archery sets Hmm We have a one bedroom flat with a small balcony - I don't feel safe and he sure as hell ain't sensible!!

How long does the virus last on things we buy online? I need some things, but too worried to buy anything for the reasons above.

I am ordering all sorts of things online. The companies are prioritizing what they view as essential. The new bath mat we ordered was originally supposed to be here in a day, it took a week. No big deal. The art supplies, some Of them are predicted to come in 10 Days. The soap I ordered took a week. that was annoying Given all the hand washing and we are going through our supply quickly. I have to order it because I am allergic to almost all soap, but I expected things like this to happen so I am not leaving the ordering of what are essentials for me to the last minute. Just ordered non-allergenic trash bags too and the predicted shipping is much slower than normal, but they should get here eventually.

I've just bought a fire extinguisher on Amazon (despite having two and half already). Accidentally setting fire to the garage today made life a little more exciting than I was expecting - turns out that welding in the workshop half would have been more sensible if I had tidied up first.

Luckily I got it extinguished before it spread to the 'clean' side with the chest freezer and loo roll storage

We are expecting our first baby and apart from a few baby grows had nothing bought for her. So I’ve felt I’ve had to order some essentials online which have mainly arrive today. I’ve tried where possible to order from smaller retailers/businesses and not bought things we definitely need. Also all delivery drivers have been amazing, knocking on the window. And leaving at the door. We’ve then brought the item into the house and washed our hands. Will leave things for a few days so to hopefully deal with any contamination.
I don’t feel bad about it, it has really helped my aniexty as I now feel more prepared.
