To think that Chris Martin is sweet!

Never been particularly interested in Coldplay, but having watched Chris Martin’s online at home gig this week, I am definitely going to one of their concerts when all this is over.

Loved watching him play stuff, sing, make mistakes and laugh about everything. His enthusiasm and happiness are infectious and he seems disarmingly positive, honest and kind. Says he doesn’t like going to bed as he finds life too interesting. Wish I felt like that, or did something as creative as what he does!

YANBU to find him sweet. He annoys the fuck out of me though. But each to their own

Hmm - the same thought might have crossed my mind but I am 8 years older than him (and that’s the only thing getting in the way of it happening of course ).

He's obviously a good bloke though!

I watched him too & was really impressed, he came over so well. Coldplay are v unusual as a band as they all share all rye music & lyrics rights so make the same money unlike in many bands.

Tbh I find him one of the most annoying people and I have to turn the tv over if he appears (which seems to be at ever opening of an envelope).

But it would be boring if we all liked the same things so you are definitely not being unreasonable.

I loved the tribute Coldplay did at Glastonbury for Viola Beach - the young band who died in a car accident. Pure class.

That Viola Beach tribute is lovely. I thought Coldplay also did a great job at the One Love concert.

I think he’s great. Seems genuine, cheerful.

I like him as a person. Loved their first album and then it went a bit too commercial for me.

He seems like he should be incredibly irritating and smug and id hate him for that

But he actually comes across as a really nice guy. So I’m conflicted.

I never get why Chris Martin/Cold Play are viewed as uncool. Spending 25yrs touring the world playing to sold out stadiums with your best mates seems pretty cool to me!
