So confused

Name changed and not an aibu as such but I'm so confused after today's announcement by the Chancellor.

I was due to start work in the next couple of weeks after already having my start date pushed back. And now the business has closed, I don't know where I stand and what rights I have.

Would be grateful for some advice.

I'm sorry I don't think today's announcement covers anyone who isn't already actually in a job. HMRC will be using PAYE records to calculate how much ppl should be paid.
Unless the company is actively hiring, then you might still get your job but not the 80 per cent.

I'm well and truly in the sh*t.

This job was meant to be a new start for my and my dc. This year has been the worst year for me and finally things were looking up. We have good health and for that I should be grateful but since yesterday I've had this horrible feeling of dread.
