To be fed up with any tribal post being shouted down because of the virus

No one is seemed to be allowed any other problem any more.

Everything else now is deemed selfish to worry about.

Yes, I get this is happening. Yes I know other things probably don’t matter as much.

But we can still complain about them can’t we? If we can’t ask for help on here without being shouted at, what’s the point?

If folk would post CV threads in the CV section it would allow for 'trivia' to he posted in the usual sections

Soubriquet · 20/03/2020 21:30

Yes trivial is the word I originally wanted

Marmite27 · 20/03/2020 21:31

OP, I lox you too 😘

fairgame84 · 20/03/2020 21:33

I miss the trivial stuff.

Soubriquet · 20/03/2020 21:37

Same here!

I am reading the CV threads cos at the end of the day it’s important and very relevant, but I like reading other threads too. But they get shouted down because it’s not important in the scheme of things. No it probably isn’t, but we can’t spend every waking second obsessing

Totally agree with you OP.

I hope people posting are resilient to the 'how can you even think of that when [insert whichever corona related issue they deem most terrible]'. Could make vulnerable posters feel bad about themselves when they have chosen a perfectly appropriate forum to share their highs, lows and woes.

EvenFlo2 · 20/03/2020 21:45

Totally agree.

Sometimes a harsh word is enough to just push someone over the edge.
