I know we're in the middle of a pandemic but sometimes a little self care is required. I want to know your favourite shower gels/body mists etc that smell amazing!

I have just discovered products from Bramley - really fresh and natural. Lift my spirits every time I use.

CherryPavlova · 20/03/2020 18:10

I use soap not shower gels. l’Occitane peony. Then lush honey bar shampoo but still ordinary conditioner.
Smell wise Jo Malone Red Roses body lotion and scent, occasionally layered with Pear and Freesia.

I like the Dove Silk Glow shower gel. The Dove Restoring Ritual body lotion is really nice too it smells of coconut. I'm obsessed with anything that smells of coconut!

Pricklypear12 · 20/03/2020 18:17

For reference, I tend to like quite fresh floral scents eg
Body shop's mango/peach/Indian night jasmine
Marc Jacobs Daisy perfume
I also like rose/jasmine/lavender/citrus scents
Oh and I sometimes like vanilla/sweet scents

Nothing beats the smell of coal tar soap or badedas shower gel.

IntermittentParps · 20/03/2020 18:21

I love Pears soap. So nostalgic.

hurryupautumn · 20/03/2020 18:28

Zippyx · 20/03/2020 18:52

I don't know why - and forgive me for doing so - I read the title as 'favourite smelling body part'...

Sorry, as you were.

Leflic · 20/03/2020 19:31

I really like the Champneys stuff in the purple packaging Heavenly Days.
The smell reminds me of a very posh gift shop from childhood.

dontblameme · 20/03/2020 19:32

2nd vote for Snow Fairy by Lush. Also just discovered Body Shop's ginger shampoo which smells delish!

cavabiensepasser · 20/03/2020 19:34

Laura Mercier.

Peachypips78 · 20/03/2020 19:50

At last - a thread I want to read!

I like L'Occitaine cherry blossom. And body shop moringa. Also a fan of Daisy by MJ and Estée Lauder Modern Muse.

Third vote for snow fairy from lush!

Was looking at my bottle last night and decided to treat myself to a shower in it tonight as it’s the start of the weekend. It doesn’t feel like it though because I’ve been wfh. Hope I remember tomorrow not to switch on my laptop...,

Peachypips78 · 20/03/2020 19:52

I want to try Snow Fairy now!

Fuckyoumenopause · 20/03/2020 19:54

Body shop juicy pear is lovely

Elieza · 20/03/2020 20:40

I don’t know why they only bring snow fairy out at Christmas. They could make a fortune selling it all year round.
I can’t describe what it smells like. A bit like bubblegum but with baby powder thrown in and something else for good measure...!

yikesanotherbooboo · 20/03/2020 20:46

All the Laura Merciers are lovely ; they are heady which I don't usually like but feel luxurious. I have moved back to bar soap now and don't fancy the plastic involved in shower gels so have renewed appreciation for Pears and Imperial leather. I use scented soaps but they don't stay on the skin in the same way

WeakAndWeary · 20/03/2020 20:56

Definitely the shower gels by French brand Le Petit Marseillais and particularly the Blood Orange one (marketed to men I think but it's lovely) and the Almond one. They're a bit pricey but go a long way and the fragrances are divine.
