SELF-ISOLATING!! Self-isolate. Self-isolate.

It's lovely to hear thanks, heaven knows it isn't said often enough. It's lovely to get the occasional free coffee. It's lovely that some people make and deliver food to us. It's all lovely and appreciated.

But what I would really love, more than anything, is for all of you that have said 'thanks' to SELF-ISOLATE. It's the only thing that will make my life, and yours better. I would love that more than anything.

Please, if you are truly grateful, show it by self-isolating.

And now I posted in the wrong forum. Meant this for coronavirus.

I'm tired.

I am keeping my three dc at home. I travel to work (key sector), keep my distance from colleagues, come home. Try to stick to one food shop per week, then leave groceries on my mum’s doorstep. That’s it for the time being. And I am so grateful for the HCP on the front line of this. Flowers

Or just by not abusing us! I manage a care home and had to phone families on monday to say we're no longer accepting visitors (we did warn this may happen) and I got shouted and screamed and sworn at for it. It was awful.

Giving them a set time for shopping. Once you finish a shift of 13 hours it's heartbreaking to not be able to feed your own family. :(

I’m a teacher, yes, most kids left today but I’m back in on Monday and for the foreseeable future. Just been shopping and the shelves were empty- leave some food so we can shop please! And yes, stay at home so those of us who cannot, and whose children cannot, are not put in even more danger.

Thanks to everyone who self isolates. It’s fantastic for us.

And yes, it’s impossible for some of us to self isolates, teachers etc

And yes to leaving some food for us! Especially the biscuit aisle! Who tf is buying all the biscuits?? There were no biscuits in my local v large tesco. None. I love biscuits. They are my comfortGrin
