If you still pay them I'm sure they won't mind

ilovesooty · 20/03/2020 14:18

I take it you're intending to offer full payment for the session?

Charliescar · 20/03/2020 14:19

I pay him cash so he would have to come to house, which defeats the object

I am sure they will be fine about it - just pay them their full fee.

Charliescar · 20/03/2020 14:20

I would be happy to send it to his bank account though

I'm a part-time tutor, and they have cancelled on me an hour before sometimes, and never pay me for it.

MissGuernsey · 20/03/2020 14:21

Charliescar Transfer the money to his bank account or do a PayPal payment.

ilovesooty · 20/03/2020 14:22

Ask him for his bank details and transfer the money.

Tvci5 · 20/03/2020 14:29

You could put the money in an envelope and put it under your door mat

TooDamnSarky · 20/03/2020 14:33

ask if they can do the session remotely

Biscuitsdisappear · 20/03/2020 15:44

Floral89x - it looks like you would benefit from having some some terms and conditions prior to taking up individual tutoring.

Floral89x · 20/03/2020 15:48

I should yes, this thread has made me realise that I shouldn't be allowing this to happen.

mummypie17 · 21/03/2020 07:35

I'm a part time tutor and I now tutor via skype

Scarlettpixie · 21/03/2020 08:04

I would ask him to skype
