To gift wrap bog roll

Packing up a Mother’s Day parcel for my DMIL and I am putting in a loo roll. Partly as a joke and partly because they are desperately short ( and I bought a BOGOF deal before all this kicked off!

Aibu to gift wrap it? Light hearted obviously...

No I think 1. It will be appreciated and 2.it will lift spirits at an uncertain time. I would definitely see it is a nice/funny way if I was her.

Seems a shame to gift wrap something so lovely. Could you not put the rolls on sticks and make a bouquet?

I sent my mum poundland toilet paper that has the logo on every sheet

I also sent her fairy lights so she says she will display it with the fairy lights as decoration
