Netflix- pretty little liars - coming off ?

I’m new to Netflix and just getting into season one. Just put the next episode on and something flashed up about coming off on 18th April. Does that mean the season or the whole lot? I’ll never get through it in time 😢. Haven’t seen it on any of the Netflix pages that say what’s coming on or off.

They do remove things from time to time to make way for new stuff. It's a shame as I've just started watching PLL again but honestly you can download the episodes and keep them for one month after that and watch offline so just rememebr to do that for a few episodes before they take them down and that should be okay. With PLL anyway the first season or two are the best and then it starts to get a bit silly so you most likely won't want to watch it all to the end anyway Grin

Needtobepositive · 20/03/2020 10:52

Download them on Netflix? I will have a look and see if I can figure it out. Would give me an extra month. I’m gutted. Wish something would come up when you start watching so you could tell if you had enough time or not.

That is such a shame! PLL is so good. Do try and download them closer to 18th April to try and watch them after.

Needtobepositive · 20/03/2020 11:44

I will try and work out how. Wish I’d never started the series now!

Imo the first series is the best, then it gets long and tedious and disappointing.

And I didn't even finish it.

The are doing you a favour.

(other people will have different opinions)

Selfisolation2020 · 20/03/2020 12:39

The books are better I read them 11 years ago, only upto who A was about 6 books I think, I think they did more after that but I didn’t ready anymore.

Crispsandchocolate4 · 20/03/2020 13:21

TBH they are doing you a favour the first few series are good but the ending was the worst I've ever seen! I was following it from the start and was so dissapointed!

WokeOnTheWater · 20/03/2020 13:52

Oh but the later seasons are such ~brilliant~ crap! They jump the shark a few seasons in and just keep on trucking for years! You have to admire that.

FaithInfinity · 20/03/2020 13:59

The ending was atrocious! Grin

grudieabbey · 20/03/2020 14:03

I wouldn’t bother. The ending is absolutely laughable and insane. I wish I had never ever watched it. I don’t do regrets in life but I’ll take that regret to my grave.

Angry
WokeOnTheWater · 20/03/2020 14:19

Along with a secret (if you can keep it), @grudieabbey? Grin

Needtobepositive · 20/03/2020 18:59

Smile @WokeOnTheWater. To be honest I just want to watch it even more now you all said it’s not worth it 😂. I’ve looked online and nothing is saying that it will be taken off in April. I’ve also come off of Netflix and then gone back in and out it on again and it doesn’t say it anymore so hoping it was some sort of glitch!

It came up again that it’s coming off on 18th April. Gutted.

Fancydancer · 21/03/2020 18:11

That’s 4 weeks! You can do it! I’ve watched the entire series 3 times 😳 it does get a bit silly towards the end but still good!

Josette77 · 21/03/2020 18:22

The first season was great. The ending is so shite I was angry for a while. It's that bad... I would have written that ending in Grade 5.

Needtobepositive · 21/03/2020 18:30

@josette77 it better not be ‘and then I woke up and it was all a dream!’ I can’t do it in 4 weeks. Not all 7 seasons! I know I’m off work etc but there’s bloody kids to make sure they’ve done some school work and feed etc. May work out how many episodes I’d need to watch a day 😂

OP posts:
WokeOnTheWater · 21/03/2020 18:34

It's not that, thank God, but it is ridiculous. RIDICULOUS. So ridiculous that they must have known how ridiculous it was and be having a laugh with us. Surely. I hope.

If you make it that far you've already surrendered to that sort of an ending anyway, to be honest. Just go with it!

Needtobepositive · 21/03/2020 18:41

5 episodes a day. Def can’t do that. It will be too much. Especially if I get angry at the ending 😂

OP posts:
MylittleLovebug · 21/03/2020 18:41

I enjoyed all the series, I mean it was totally ridiculous but I like a bit of ridiculous with my entertainment

WokeOnTheWater · 21/03/2020 18:44

MylittleLovebug Same here! May I recommend Riverdale?!

Needtobepositive · 21/03/2020 21:49

Maybe I will swap to river dale then and bin off pll

OP posts:
grudieabbey · 21/03/2020 22:26

If you’re going to sack it off, read the summary of every season so you can find out how it ends. Then come back here and laugh (cry) with us.

FaithInfinity · 21/03/2020 22:32

I couldn’t finish Riverdale!

Josette77 · 22/03/2020 02:02

No quite it was all a bad dream, but literally not far from that guess. Equally as awful.

Needtobepositive · 22/03/2020 15:34

So I’m thinking I will need the extra month if it can be downloaded and then I should be ok. Does anyone know if / how I can do it? Will it be obvious just before it comes off air?
