Why comment on these posts?

Most people only seem to read the original post and the most recent one. You can have a page of discussions which is ignored. Maybe this will go against the trend but doubtful!

My frustration levels are rising, not going to give real examples of some of the posts I’ve read today/yesterday but here is a stupid hypothetical example

A: I don’t like green veg
B: None?
A: I do like broccoli
B: Thats good
C: How dare you hate all green veg
D: Broccoli is lovely how dare you hate it
A: Actually I said I like broccoli
B: OP said she likes broccoli
E: Fuck you OP, broccoli is lovely!!!!
F: Let’s burn OP at the stake for being a broccoli hater

ive read a few posts... which is unusual cos I normally read the op and any subsequent posts the op makes.
