Please boycott Britannia hotels as they've kicked 20 people out of the staff accommodation and fired them, many of these are workers from abroad and cannot get home. Some are sleeping in tents tonight and they have had no notice.
I know times are tough but they now have an empty staff accommodation but are so repulsive they won't allow them to stay there until covid blows over.

I stayed inn a Britannia Hotel years ago.

In the morning when breakfast was served I took one look at Dps sausage and recommended he didn’t eat it.

Dp wrapped up sausage for ddog.
D dog are everything and anything from a flattened hedgehog that she pulled up from the tarmac when crossing a road to a cows afterbirth and the contents of dcs potty when we were toilet training if I didn’t get there first.

Ddog took one sniff of this sausage and backed away.

No idea what was in the sausage but it was worse than anything that ddog had ever ate

Another place to add to my list of Boycott. No one should support such an amoral business.

Like the poster on p1 re the petrol station. People have long memories and need to use their money wisely. If more people did so the likes of sports direct would have gone bust by now. We all have a choice where to spend any money that we have, companies like this deserve to go under and the employees will have better chances elsewhere.

@flirtygirl I actually refuse to shop in sports direct as they're terrible. Refused to give my mum a refund for a faulty product.

The admin error is bullshit.

Given the lack of bookings they'll be getting I'd say why not put the staff in guest bedrooms

But having once (foolishly) booked a Britannia hotel, I can't help feeling they'd be almost unique in being better off on the streets

I heard on the news earlier that the hotel chain is saying it was an admin error...
