Nit combing

As all the children will be off (and isolated) for an indeterminate length of time, do you think that we could all have a really good combing session with a bottle of conditioner and a nitty gritty comb? It would be so brilliant if every child went back to school free of headlice.

I will do mine tonight.

Gonna have to keep on top of the little buggars if dc can't have haircuts for a good while!

Crumbs I hadn’t even considered haircuts. My son will have to let his hair get shaggy. My daughter has long hair anyway.

I am currently battling nits in my dc (treating regularly and combing every night), and thought the same this morning - at least there is a good break from school to break the cycle of reinfestation.

I’ve already stocked up on extra conditioner, and supplied exH with a nitty gritty so we can both keep on top of it over the coming weeks!

I think this every summer holidays. I have 2 girls. One in nursery and one in year 4 and they always bring the buggers home. Unfortunately though within a week of going back they bring them home again

That is such a brilliant idea!

GreenWheat · 19/03/2020 16:26

I was tempted to ask the very same on the class WhatsApp group but chickened out!

instantpop · 19/03/2020 16:26

I had the same thought today, we can eradicte nits once and for all!

I mentioned it on class whatsapp, hope some others take notice!
