So M&S have put an advert out on FB publicising opening early for NHS workers and older/vulnerable people. On the surface this sounds great, we all need to eat! I appreciate the amazing self sacrifice going on in the NHS and caring professions greatly. Am I being unreasonable to think it odd that they are not respecting their own staff, by not paying them, when following the government's strict instructions to adhere to social distancing, if they are themselves in a vulnerable group? Because they are not being encouraged to "do the right thing" they will be in store when your gran goes in, your ICU nurse, GP and pharmacist. Isn't it just going to be a germ fest when the emergency carers have such an important part to play in all this? Corona can be Asymptomatic! I don't have the answers, maybe a food package to be picked up by less "at risk" people?
