Just smarting a little tonight. I've grown a business from nothing to a very decent turnover in the last 5 years, I have a couple of staff, some national awards, we weren't loaded but I loved my job. We were flying. In the course of 1 week we stand to lose it all. I'm worried about my staff and putting food on their tables too in the difficult months ahead as well as my own financial situation.
That's even before anyone I know has been seriously affected. No one has become ill. No one has died. Yet. I can't even imagine what life is going to feel like when that new reality 'lands.'
When I look back, will my whole life be split into pre and post virus? Or will this be a year of difficulty that is easily forgotten. Will life ever feel 'normal' again?
