Where to buy calpol

I've been searching for calpol the last 2 days, I need it and can not find it anywhere! Went to 6 different stores today alone, even had family friends look for it for me. Not in stock anywhere. Can't find online either. Is stock not coming in? All the stores have said they have been out since it all sold out. What should I do then! This is so frustrating

Your local independent pharmacy will be able to help - they get stocks in every day.

Yesterday I went into to mine to ask when he'd be getting hand sanitizer in, he said later this morning, he took my name and saved me two.

Thank you everyone!! I called the petrol garage, they have it!! 😄😄

Try independent pharmacies. My baby had a fever approaching 40 today and one managed to get me some.

Cremebrule · 18/03/2020 21:29

Glad you’re sorted. I missed that before I posted.

Dubdubdubtub · 18/03/2020 21:30

Try store own brands as well. Just as good x

Incrediblytired · 18/03/2020 21:37

I know it’s weird but wilko tend to have loads

Parmavioletmum · 18/03/2020 21:39

A lot of chemists and even poundland (or their own brand paracetemol) have started keeping it under the counter and are limiting It to 1 per customer. Worth an ask at the desks

letsjog · 18/03/2020 21:42

I ordered some from Amazon a few days ago. Said estimated delivery 25th march but arrived today .

Youdreamedmydreamforme · 18/03/2020 22:48

I found some in two different independent chemists today. I think they are the places to go!

BlessMeDarkFather · 18/03/2020 23:52

I got a big bottle of Calpol from local pharmacy, had to ask for it from behind the counter, went to six different shops before hand but everywhere was sold out

Dubdubdubtub · 19/03/2020 12:07

Got a bottle from Asda this morning of their own brand stuff x

Esiotrot87 · 19/03/2020 19:58

For anyone still looking, Lloyds Pharmacy online are selling a generic product that’s the same (as far as I can see) - search “Paracetamol Suspension Cherry 120mg/5ml”.

I bought some the other day and i’m hoping my daughter still takes it despite the cherry flavour

schafernaker · 19/03/2020 20:46

I know you have it now but just a suggestion for others, the boots website has a check stock part. Might be worth looking on there before heading into a boots store

actionpacked · 19/03/2020 21:55

I bought some at my local shop yesterday, they only had the 6plus sachets then (they only had 2 boxes left) but I’ve just been in for bread and noticed the shelf has been fully restocked and they have bottles of the stuff suitable for babies too now. So worth asking if shops have any. If they’ve got any left tomorrow I’d be happy to send some.

TeeniefaeTroon · 19/03/2020 22:04

Another option for those in desperate need is to ask on local Facebook groups. I've two bottles in my cupboard, one for us and one in case any of my friends need. If I saw someone desperately looking on Facebook I'd offer one of mine.

BettyIsMyFavouriteSquirrel · 19/03/2020 22:06

I also needed some and as we couldn’t get it anywhere I called the doctor and he told me that the pharmacies all have it in but are keeping it back for prescriptions so people who genuinely need it can get some. Luckily a friend had some spare and was able to give us half a bottle but we’ll get a prescription if needs be.

Bellaphant · 19/03/2020 22:52

Id also ask at the till - my local only had baby nurefen but when I went to buy it (teething 8 month old), she asked why (as I think they are warning against anti inflammatory drugs and Corona virus) and then said they had some behind the counter to sell to people who weren't panicking. She also said she's pretty sure someone robbed a whole lot of the shelf yesterday to sell on for a profit :(

Bella2020 · 19/03/2020 23:44

Slightly off topic, but I saw a chemist's on the news earlier who were charging £19.99 for a 200ml bottle of Calpol! Once the media picked up on it they cut the price, blaming a paperwork error.
Disgraceful profiteering from parents of poorly kids.

Oxo01 · 20/03/2020 00:34

I managed to get it and 1 box (per person) of paracetamol in my local chemist plus one tin of baby formula colic one, which I got for a family member who was struggling in her area.

c0ffeeandcake · 20/03/2020 01:09

Local chemist? I got 2 bottles there yesterday. 1 for under and 1 for over 6

c0ffeeandcake · 20/03/2020 01:09

Also they had plenty of stock
