So schools to shut...no problem for me as I'm a sahm. Two DC.

However, my eldest is 12...he doesn't do a thing without being nagged. Literally if you want him to do anything you have to ask him ten times at least and even then he often won't do what you've asked until you shout. I honestly am wondering how I'll cope without becoming a shrieking, nagging witch!
I don't mind organising work for him, I don't mind setting out a timetable for the day. I don't mind helping him but I am absolutely dreading getting him to do stuff.

Help me!!!

I'm wondering how, as a supply teacher who only gets paid when I actually work, I'm going to afford the next few months without either racking up mountains of debt or being made homeless.

@twozerotwozero , is there anyway you could offer a tutoring service via skype or similar , i'm sure there's lots of parents who will want to keep up their childrens education with this indefinite disruption .

I am the same. My 15 year old is looking forward to lying in his bed for however long school is closed. It is bad enough at weekends and during holidays trying to get him out of bed and doing something.

My dp is self employed so he also doesn't get paid if not at work.

@peony68 I've thought about that but wouldn't have a clue how to go about setting that up. It might be something that I can put to the agency though and see if they have any plans along those lines.

My US private school is doing a full timetable of e lessons.
I am so grateful.
