I feel a lot of negativity around at the moment in the news and stuff so tell me some good news!! Xxx

At 20 weeks she is taller than our other ddogs.. Those legs!!

Frogs are swimming in my pond. They make me laugh.

My bell pepper seeds are finally starting to sprout!

My wages will more than normal this month so if I end up quarantined I'll be ok ish

Some friends and I have created a FB private space to get on with a creative project together while we're all off work.

Had a gorgeous walk in the woods with DH, birdwatching and sneaking off the paths to explore a bamboo grove that had self-seeded. Felt like being a kid again.

I woke up at 4.30 this morning and couldn't get back to sleep. Tried relaxing music, rain and thunderstorm sounds etc which usually help but nope, so I turned my phone off and lay there resigned to being awake. Then just as it was barely light a blackbird began singing outside my window and sang me back to sleep. Lovely.

Enjoying a large bunch of orange tulips on my diningroom table. They make me smile I every time I walk by and helping me keep the table clear from clutter.

Also found my favourite biscuits from home in the supermarket today (I live abroad).

Trying to find small silver linings in every day and reminding myself I have so much to be grateful for.

1. Our cat is loving us all being around a bit more.
2. I don't have to feel guilty for working at home.
3. The quality of the BBC news app has reversed its decline and (hopefully) proving to Boris et al. why a public service broadcaster is still needed.
4. Maybe more teens will see the worth of choosing careers in health & social care, STEM, teaching, manufacturing, etc.

It's been a bright & sunny day - for once not raining.
I sold something fairly expensive on eBay that been hanging around the house.
I lost 1lb since I last weighed myself (only 8 more to go!)

I've got fish fingers and chips for tea

I’ve had fixed braces on my teeth for 14 months and they are due to come off in 2 days, I’m so excited to see my new smile 😃

After four weeks of my internet cutting out for longer and longer periods and two engineers who were completely useless, the third engineer came today, installed new cable inside and doubled the speed!!

I was self isolating but can't cope with no internet.

I listened to Bob Marley this afternoon for the first time in ages and it was brilliant! Listen to Bob. He knows.

My dh’s cousin has messaged me to ask me to be her daughter’s godmother. It really has made me feel so happy, I can’t wait!!

Our home improvement loan had been accepted. My extension will be started by summer I'm so happy as waited for years.

My house looks fabulous!!! I’ve spent the last few days really blitzing it one room at a time ..... junk thrown out, everything cleaned and tidied, fresh flowers, no dust .... for the first time in years I feel proud of it and happy to be here.

DS birthday tomorrow x I know he will love his presents and as we can’t go out will get a takeaway
Found a joint of lamb in local supermarket - which was my meal of choice for Mother’s Day
Bought a lovely phase eight sweater dress from charity shop for £3.50

My husband and I are expecting our first baby in June. We’re both divorced and remarried and a bit on the older side so never thought this could be our story.

He has painted the walls today and I’m picking up the crib on Friday and it will be ready and waiting. Granted a few months earlier than planned but we got organised!

@JaceLancs. OMG. Lamb AND a new Phase 8 sweater dress. Two of my favourite things. I am 🤢 and for one that is envy! Enjoy them.

It's my birthday: 53 today
