I bought a gorgeous 4 season, feather duvet at a huge cost just 12 months ago. I’ve never gone beyond the ‘summer weight’ duvet and as it’s only a March and DH and I are already roasting , I’ve gone old school. Two blankets, cellular, one cotton, one wool and a cotton top sheet. It’s bloody lovely .
Am I alone in my new blanket joy?

Ps,I do have a nice ‘bedspread’ too, but it’s from BHS. So it’s pretty ancient. Sorry for being twee, I’m just so fed up with cv threads.

Sounds lovely, something very comforting about cellular blankets I think. Maybe because my dc has them when they were born.

I'm with you.
I love my blankets
I had a lovely heavy wool blanket. Cost 25p from a charity shop.
Bastard ex stole it!
If I have to isolate for 12 weeks, I am knitting myself a new bed blanket

We have 2 fluffy blankets and two fleecy ones downstairs and I have just bought a quilted one with beach huts on for the glorified shed summer house. I love being under blankets when I'm just watching TV on the settee or reading in the garden; there's that cosy and safe feeling that you only get from hiding under a lovely blanket. Sleeping under them though, especially if there's more than one, is annoying because they all fall off or get tangled up when I try to turn over.

I love my electric blankets and have them in the main rooms of the house, usually having to fight DDog for them!

I do also a fabulous cow print blanket my brother bought me years ago which is so warm, I have chronic pain so blankets all year round help (and it’s a handy reason so DP can’t complain too much)

I’ve been making a Merino Wool blanket - I’m nearly finished it. I have recently made several baby blankets recently.

I love a blanket.

Love, love a blanket. I too love the comfort of one watching tv or reading a book under one - as well as the warmth in winter. I love my duvet but cellular blankets sound lovely- also takes me back to my babies.

I have 3 blankets. Two from the Scottish company Oscha which I bought during my baby wearing days. Expensive but gorgeous. Then I have my newest blanket, a gorgeous grey weighted blanket. Loving it so far!

I have two half finished crocheted blankets. One is stripy pinks and purple, one is rather too neon rainbow colours. I will finish them at some point, but I don't know if I'll use them much, because my cat keeps getting his claws stuck in them.

I used to really like sleeping under a top sheet and a heavy blanket or two at my granny's when I was little. It feels quite comforting I think. Maybe I should go back to them...
