Prepared to be flamed for being a whinging twat, but is wanting decent neighbours too much to ask?
Took years to move from old place - ASB, racism, violence etc. Saved and saved and saved to buy a run down but detached place in a very good town, in a good street etc. Been here 1 month and all seemed bliss.
Neighbours son is here visiting. He tries to intimidate people, and has decided now is a good time to do car maintenance whilst having the loudest possible chat. Engine running on another car, parked unnecessarily at an angle meaning it's headlights are shining into our bedroom. His daughter asked him a question and his response was 'what did you fucking say'. Neighbour is in his 80s, am dreading they might move in and we cannot afford to move again right now. AIBU?
