THis is mine, my first ever piece of art! It's currently packed away ready for the house move. I also have a canvas that is incredibly outed but I laugh every time I see it :)

It’s a recent present that my OH got me, it’s a 1940 electric adapted singer. It’s a got a ridiculously loud motor (possibly from an old milk float) and some scratches, but he refinished the cabinet completely (even though it’s veneer) and I love it. She runs like a dream

@SpockPaperScissorsLizardRock love that chair, lucky person they are expensive. I've always wanted a classic wing back chair.

BelleharePenguin09 · 16/03/2020 21:23

No “braggy” posts, that I can see. But then my taste is a bit specific!

BelleharePenguin09 · 16/03/2020 21:24

@Puffalicious’s trio of pics are of things worth bragging about, though. She wasn’t but I would.

oxoxoxoxo · 16/03/2020 21:32

I have a few, but this is in my sitting room opposite my chair and I often look at it and feel a ridiculous amount of pleasure! I found it in a junk shop for about £40 I think, and it's perfect for the children's books. Its mahogany with little brass handles, and beautiful curves...

oxoxoxoxo · 16/03/2020 21:33

Aargh here it is...

Nutkin, that table is lovely. Why do I never find anything in a skip? Must have been a great floor.

StephanieSpeilberg · 16/03/2020 21:45

Think you’ll find @Rachel709 was talking about my lamp, so stop trying to hog her disgust. It’s mine and my lamps to cherish.

Pliudev · 16/03/2020 21:45

Yes blablabla...brilliant light relief. I know I shouldn't pick a favourite but My Naughty Little Sausage is gorgeous.

AllNewThings · 16/03/2020 21:51

My dressing table and my pussycat. DH and I had a horrible bedroom before we moved, which had dinosaurs and pirate flags for two years! My new bedroom is beautiful and I feel like I'm sleeping in a boutique hotel every night. My pussycat just cause. 😻

@koshkatt If that was aimed at me and my living room, don't be a dick

christmas why on earth would you assume it was aimed at you?! Talk about ego!

vingt I love that so much. I will look up some more of her stuff.

BadCatDirtyCat · 16/03/2020 22:27

@Tomasinabombadil if it's the one I think it is it's not that expensive - it's IKEA! Really comfy though.

SpockPaperScissorsLizardRock - sorry if I've got that wrong and massively dissed your chair Grin

IdleLiz · 16/03/2020 22:47

@plentyoflooroll wow how long have you been collecting?

I only have 12 plates and 30 mugs, I try and wait for the sales or seconds.

Everything is boxed until I get my new kitchen. Would love a display cabinet.

oxoxoxoxo · 16/03/2020 23:29

I'm so loving all these pussycats! Lost ours recently, cant replace him obvs but definitely need a new moggy in our lives.....

Mary46 · 16/03/2020 23:36

@Redyellowpink Good grief that poor old lumiere, seems it lost one of it's arms in some melting related incident. Grin

IanHislopForPm · 17/03/2020 02:58

@AllNewThings where is that from?! I love it!

My comment wasn't directed at anyone we all have different tastes.

Monty27 · 17/03/2020 03:50

@39BitOfFun
and you're still talking about it. I remember your first posts. Glad you still love that picture of yourself Grin

Tomasinabombadil · 17/03/2020 06:55

@BadCatDirtyCat
Thanks for the info. I've have a look on the website.
I made one visit to IKEA in Croydon back in the 1980's when they first opened, didn't like the experience & have never visited again. Hmm

Shinyfloors · 17/03/2020 07:37

sheepysheep - your woodpecker feather is stunning!
MadameJosepine what a beautiful, heart-warming print.

I love our log burner but I really love our rocking chair in my baby daughters room. My nan had one when I was younger and I always loved it and knew I wanted one for my baby. We had a surprise hence the colour scheme Smile
