THis is mine, my first ever piece of art! It's currently packed away ready for the house move. I also have a canvas that is incredibly outed but I laugh every time I see it :)

Name change as I have two that will out me if you've ever been to my house.

This is one. My In Omnia Paratus poster. I love pop culture artwork, but it has to be subtle. Something that stands alone, and if you know, you'll get it straight away. I saw this on Etsy and coveted it for months. My husband loved it too (also a fan) and bought it for me. I try not to think how much it cost (we had it shipped from the US). Worth every penny.

My other thing is our hall floor. The old floor was bland and boring, and whilst there was nothing wrong with it, it was just meh. So we put these tiles in. We get lots of compliments.

I also love my Dunelm curtains as seen in the poster photo. We have ridiculously high ceilings in our bedroom and they drop from ceiling to skirting (I didn't want them on the floor). We have two windows so they look fabulous.

This is my top favourite piece as I fell totally in love with her on seeing her in a gallery window in Barnard Castle - it's by an artist called Marie Prett.

Can I have another favourite thing? Basically my whole living room. But specifically my 1930s tub chairs bought at auction, our fireplace, and mg travelling trunk, which is completely filled with my yarn.

We went to the auction room to look at something else, and these were so striking that they just stood out. Showed them to DH who really liked them too. They were a steal at £60 for the pair.

The trunk is from an Antiques shop next door to where I used to work and it was just outside on the street with random chairs and stuff one day as I walked past. It was a bargain at £20. I opted to carry it home rather than go and get my car. I regretted that within two minutes. It weighs an absolute ton.

Love my living room. It's evolved naturally since we bought the house as we've bought different things and updated it. It's done now though.

An orchid given to me by DPs auntie when I was discharged from hospital after having DD. It was flowering and really made me grateful to be home. It's coming up to two years old and flowers every few weeks. It probably needs repotting or something because it's tripled in size but I'm too scared to do anything to it.

I also like this drawing of a baby hare. It’s the only thing I’ve ever drawn that I’m actually proud of. It’s framed and on the wall now, but I don’t tell anyone I drew it.

@Pinkarsedfly That's gorgeous!! We have a similar drawing that we bought because we liked it so much.
